Gotland 2008 day 1

We started from Tollarp at 06:00 and drove the 312 km up to the north point of Öland.


We followed the east coast up to Fårösund. (100 km)


Our first stop, Öland, close to the bridge.


Öland is known for all the wind mills.


Gunnar, in front of the 7 km long bridge, from the main land of Sweden to Öland.


Heinz brought "The lucky stick" from Brittany.


Waiting for the ferry from the north point of Öland (Grankullavik) to Gotland.


The trip to Gotland took 2 hours, with the high speed ferry.


The first stop on Gotland, Halls huk.


Heinz was happy to see Gotland.


We went along the east coast up to Fårösund. This part is called "The stone coast".


An old fishing harbour on the east coast.
Old boats rest in peace until distroyed by nature.


The nature around is beautiful.

After a long day, we had dinner at a pizzeria in Fårösund.
